Over the years, I often realize that I lose track of challenges that are down. Since, I haven't found a current list of them in the forum, I decided to start one. Don't hesitate to contribute to the list! I also hope, some day, this list will be a nice starting point for admins. <img alt="\":drink3:\"" src="%5C">

Confirmed down by user who previously solved them
<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Exploit 3 - The strange link (confirmed by Kad on 2016-08-22)<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Programming 6 - Just another calculation (confirmed by livinskull on 2016-08-22)<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Exploit 26: Lose Lip5 (confirmed by S0410N3 on 2017-05-04)<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Exploit 17 - RHC6 (confirmed by S0410N3 on 2018-02-05)<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Information Gathering 5 - Cure Sheep (confirmed by matrixman on 2018-04-28)

Challenges pending confirmation of their status
<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">CrackIt 3 - It's starting(brought up by destiny on 2017-06-05)<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Exploit 9 - Analyze this II!(brought up by destiny on 2017-06-05)

Challenges confirmed working
<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Stegano 56 - Footprints 2 (confirmed by Erik on 2017-04-18)<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Javascript 2 - Often used, but easy to solve (confirmed by kjangwa on 2017-04-17)<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Javascript 5 - Easy script (confirmed by kjangwa on 2017-04-17)<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Exploit 8 - The Guestbook (confirmed by Kad on 2017-04-11)

-Kad <img alt="\"\"" src="%5C">
Dear Kad,

thank you very much - this is a brilliant idea! In fact I do not have an overview of what the problems and their impact are.

Someone wrote to me that JavaScript2 is broken - can anyone confirm that?

Best wishes,
Erik
Hello,

what about <img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">The Guestbook? I think it should work. Could someone please confirm this?

Thank you,
Erik
It does! Your question motivated me to solve it. Solved it, after all those years! <img alt="\"^^\"" src="%5C">

-Kad <img alt="\"\"" src="%5C">
The two <img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Reverse<img alt="\"link\"" src="%5C">Mes are tendencially obsolete (the solution is defined by Windows XP) and haven't been validated for a while (or have they?).
Not sure if you can call them \"down\".
But I solved bb's one in 2012 <img alt="\":P\"" src="%5C">
Hello,

I just fixed JavaScript 1 (yes, even that one was broken <img alt="\":-o\"" src="%5C">), and the underlying issue most likely has affected many other challenges. So I hope some of those listed above might be fixed now as well - anyone willing to check?

Best wishes,
Erik
Programming chall \"Just another calculation\" aka calculate2 ( http://www.bright-shadows.net/challenges/programming/calculate2/index.php ) Seems to be down too.

The tryout link throws an HTTP 500.
Erik,
Might I suggest that challenges which are currently down as indicated by Kad are marked as such similarly to 10: [Down]The strange link.. Some CSS edit would be nice too with a red hyperlink.
I know that you/we are planning on fixing the site, but the first port of call should surely be to let users know which challenges they should not be wasting their time on. (Not everyone visits this part of the forum)

Nice to have you back <img alt="\":)\"" src="%5C">
sabre
