the few users capable of finding those bugs prefer to keep the knowlegde to themselves...

at least thats just my opinion ( as n00b as i am that must worth less then nothing...)

Its not hard if you have the training for it... i can read C, C++ or VB (more recenntly), or even variants like php or javascript better the Portuguese that is my language, and after a while you even start to think of real life matters as if they were programming problems (at least thats what happens to me, maybe i'm just another programming addict). I started this programming/hacking/cracking problems 2 weeks ago and this is awsome because i learned more in 2 weeks than i have learned in a long time. This helps me protect my pages better, opened my eyes to exploring stuff that wasn't meant to be seen or done. And apart from learning i take pleasure in helping others to learn also. It seems it brings meaning to my life, making a difference. But like those i'm criticising (i bet this is not how this word is written, but its late to babel.altavista this), i don't have a habit of reading the foruns besides looking for tips (i'm trying to change that), but whenever someone PMs me with a question i do my best in helping them, controling my words so i dont spoil to much (that is hard...). Looking for those new exploits is something that is a bit hard for me (the first time is always the hardest ) and others like me, at these stage i'm looking for anything that teaches me something, so in the future i have what it takes to teach others... Anyway, its just my two cents on the subject, so if anyone needs help on the few chalenges i solved just PM me and ill riddle a hint for you

Peace

If you are interested in real time hacking of real systems ( no webscripts but shell access to the system ) check out www.rootthisbox.org it can teach you alot as it offers alot of practice area's on various systems. Many system admins intentionaly run some sort of vulnerable code wich can be exploited to gain root access.

So if your interested in finding bugs in various source code's and exploiting them in real life check it out
